Why was the Ancient Chinese Civilization the most successful compared to other civilizations?
Like why does it serve as the greatest example of the word "civilization"?

- Depends how you define successful? Certainly the Chinese Empire(s) were successful in their own turf (remaining an Empire, albeit under various different 'clans' for thousands of years) - but usually when we think of an Empire, we think of its ability to grow, expand and conquer others. The Chinese seemed to have been fairly content to stay in their geographical region and not expand as much - which of course eventually led to their downfall.
