Civilization?

"Most of civilization is artificial; everything we have and do is a mere construct to mask survival strategies. Libraries preserves our knowledge so that our later generations improve on our success (and hopefully learn from our mistakes) so that our particular culture subset survives. Armies exist to protect our genetic material. TV, videogames, movies, music.. all really exist to keep us pacified so that we remain content and within our culture and “civilization.” Exercise keeps us healthy and attractive to the opposite sex so our genetic material continues." Do you agree with this?

2. What's not to agree to. In fact I think the different civilizations made in the different corners of the world are fascinating. Nowadays civilization is globalized formed by necessity and cultural exchange.
3. After the British left India, a French Reporter asked Ghandi Ji, in light of England's grant of independence what was his reflective opinion of Western Civilization. His reply was, that he thought that it might be a good idea! We loosely use the term Civilization, yet in truth most of mankind is still trying to cope with socialization. So in light of that realization I am apt to concur with anyone who believes that very few of us deserve to be truly called civilized. After all the origin of the Mesopotamian term was originally not much more than our current term City!
